Level 5 to Level 6
Each level below lists the leagues this club plays in. Your kid's level depends on the team they make. The six levels are our own reading of public league play. They are not an official ranking.
Sanctioned by Soccer Maine (US Youth Soccer). The club’s site also lists Maine State Premier League. We have not placed that league on the ladder, so it does not count above.

The programs, age by age
These come from the club's site, grouped the way the club groups them. Your kid starts in the one that fits their age.
Adult Pick-Up
age 19 and older
Informal, friendly, inclusive games for players of all abilities. Players split into teams and start playing.
AFFC Select - Summer 2026
college and high school players
Invite-only sessions for college and high school players operating at the highest level. The program focuses on technical training, speed, agility and overall athleticism.
Summer Camps
players entering kindergarten to entering 8th grade in Fall 2026
Summer camps are open to all skill levels and focus on the introduction and mastery of ball skills through structured activities and small-sided games.
Summer Pick-Up Leagues
Middle School (grades entering 5th through entering 8th) · 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11
Pick-up style play provides a fun, laid back but competitive environment to prepare for upcoming school and fall travel soccer seasons. Players are supervised by AFFC coaches.
Homeschool Academy
between ages 7 to 16
Weekly training sessions for homeschool and cyber school children balance skills, fun and fitness through soccer.
Youth Open Play / Pick-Up
6-9 year olds; 10-12 year olds; 13+ year olds
Players are divided by age for a fun and safe playing environment. Players play in a game-like environment with very limited to no coaching.
First Sparks! (adult & me)
ages 2-4
A fun and positive introduction to soccer for children and their parent or guardian, using age-appropriate activities and fun-based games.
Goalkeeping Academy
ages 8 and above
Led and developed by Acadia Fire Director of Coaching Mark Hundhammer, the academy develops exceptional goalkeepers and athletes through technical, tactical and positional training.
Skills Academy
age 9 to 13
Acadia Fire coaches focus on core soccer skills to improve technical, tactical and coordinative skills at an age-appropriate level and build player confidence and growth on and off the pitch.
Maine State Premier League
The club lists 2026 Maine State Premier League tryouts and says limited roster spots are available on select teams.
Blue Fire FC / TOPSoccer
children and adults with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities
A joint program between Acadia Fire FC and The Downeast Family YMCA’s Blue Lobster program. TOPSoccer provides a safe, fun, supportive and inclusive environment focused on player development rather than competition.
