Each level below lists the leagues this club plays in. Your kid's level depends on the team they make. The six levels are our own reading of public league play. They are not an official ranking.
Sanctioned by Alabama Soccer Association (US Youth Soccer) and Tennessee State Soccer Association (US Youth Soccer). The club’s site also lists Elite Soccer League, Tennessee State League. We have not placed those leagues on the ladder, so they do not count above.

2026 Spring Academy
U5-U8
The Blount United Rush Soccer Academy offers a program specifically designed for young players U5-U8 to develop a love for soccer. All teams train twice per week and have games on Saturdays in the Elite Soccer League.
2026 Fall Academy
5U-8U
The Blount United Rush Soccer Academy offers a program specifically designed for young players 5U-8U to develop a love for soccer. All teams train twice per week and have games on Saturdays in the Elite Soccer League.
Competitive Club Soccer
Ages 8-18
Our competitive club teams hold player placement tryouts every May. Competitive teams train 2-3x per week, play games on the weekends, and travel for tournaments.
Summer 5v5 League
Ages 4 - Adults · 5v5
Blount United Rush SC's Summer 5v5 League is open to recreational and competitive players ages 4 - 100! The league features weekly games all summer long and ends with a one-day tournament.
Winter Futsal
Ages 6-13
Indoor program that builds speed, confidence, and skill all winter long! Recreational and Competitive.
TOPSoccer
Ages 4-18
TOPSoccer is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities. The TOPSoccer program is FREE for all athletes!
Rush Select
Ages 8-18
Rush Select exists to identify, develop, and showcase top talent across Rush Nation, creating a direct pathway from club to collegiate opportunity. The program provides a national platform to be seen, challenged, and recruited.
Adult League
Ages 18+ · 7v7
The Fall 2026 Adult League is open to all skill levels, males and females 18+. All games are 7v7 format.
Rec+
Ages 9-16
Rec+ is designed to support youth soccer players who aspire to transition from local recreational soccer to competitive club soccer. The program includes weekly training and Saturday small-sided games.

T.J. McCallum
Director of Coaching
11v11 Technical Director; 15U Hammers; 15U and 16U Lady Hammers
TJ McCallum has been playing soccer since age 4. He was a 4-year starter at Maryville College, earning All-Conference all four years and All-Southern Region for three years. He spent four seasons with the Nashville Metros in the USL PDL league and one year with the Knoxville Force in the NPSL league. He began his coaching career at Blount United in 2003 and returned full-time in 2008.
He graduated from Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, TN; 4-year starter at Maryville College
Anna Bowerman

Anna has led the Academy since 2018. She has been a coach in the Academy for four years and has been the director for over a year.

Bri McDaniel
Director of Soccer Operations
11v11 Coaching Staff; 15U and 16U Lady Hammers
Bri returned to Blount United in 2015 to coach her first team, the 2006 Lady Hammers, leading them for five years to multiple tournament championships and advancement to Division I in the Tennessee State League. In January 2024, Bri returned to her home club as Director of Soccer Operations.
Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance from Middle Tennessee State University; Associate of Applied Science from Pellissippi State Community College; Associate of Applied Science in Business Management from the Community College of the Air Force; pursuing a Master’s degree in Strategic Leadership with a concentration in Sport Management
