Where on the ladder
Level 5 to Level 6
Each level below lists the leagues this club plays in. Your kid's level depends on the team they make. The six levels are our own reading of public league play. They are not an official ranking.
Sanctioned by South Texas Youth Soccer Association (US Youth Soccer). The club’s site also lists Houston Youth Soccer Association. We have not placed that league on the ladder, so it does not count above.

The programs, age by age

Grassroots
ages 3–6
The Grassroots program is designed for young players taking their first steps into soccer, with a focus on fun, exploration, and learning the basics in a safe, encouraging environment. It uses age-appropriate games and activities to develop ball control, passing, shooting, teamwork, and motor skills.
Recreational Soccer
U4 - U15
DPSFC offers an introduction to youth soccer leagues focused on fun while learning age-appropriate skills. Teams are volunteer coached and supported by DPSFC Training Staff and Board members.
STYSA · HYSA
Deer In Training Academy (DIT)
10 years of age or under
DIT uses a defined curriculum and player-centered developmental focus to provide optimal playing environments for players registered as 10 years of age or under. It emphasizes player development, ball skill, decision-making, and a more competitive atmosphere than recreational soccer.
STYSA feeds into competitive select soccer
Club Soccer
U7 - U19
The competitive Club Program develops individual skill and teamwork, balancing technical mastery, tactical understanding, and mental resilience. Teams test their skills against local, regional, and national teams, with each team led by a licensed Head Coach.
Futsal Friday
Birth Years 2018 - 2016; Birth Years 2015 - 2012; Birth Years 2011 and older · 5 v 5
Futsal Friday offers weekly, open-gym style futsal sessions. Futsal is a fast-paced small-sided game played on a hard-surfaced, basketball-sized court with a smaller, low-bounce ball.
Sports Performance Lessons
DPSFC offers specialized training opportunities led by experienced, licensed coaching staff. The SPL program focuses on building a solid foundation and essential skills that enhance young athletes' confidence and self-esteem.
College ID Camp & Soccer Player Showcase
The annual College ID Camp and Soccer Player Showcase gives elite youth players a platform to be seen, evaluated, and recruited by college programs. It includes high-intensity training environments, full-sided matches, and player/coach Q&A panels.
