Level 5 to Level 6
Each level below lists the leagues this club plays in. Your kid's level depends on the team they make. The six levels are our own reading of public league play. They are not an official ranking.
Sanctioned by South Texas Youth Soccer Association (US Youth Soccer). The club’s site also lists US Club Soccer. We have not confirmed that from the body’s own member list, so we do not call the club sanctioned. It also lists Capitol Area Youth Soccer Association (CAYSA), Western District Division One Association (WDDOA), State Classics League (SCL). We have not placed those leagues on the ladder, so they do not count above.

The programs, age by age
These come from the club's site, grouped the way the club groups them. Your kid starts in the one that fits their age.
Recreational League
3 – 12 Years Old
The league focuses on developing skills and team play, learning basic rules of the game, socializing, and having fun. Practices are held once a week and games are normally played on Saturdays in Old Settlers Park.
Pre-Academy Program
5 – 10 Years Old
Players who are interested in the Academy Program but are too young to register, or Academy-age recreational players seeking extra practice time, can participate in the Pre-Academy Program.

Galaxy Littles
2 – 5 Years Old
Galaxy Soccer Littles is intended for players ages 2 to 4 years old. The program introduces players to the qualities of a rolling ball and develops basic motor functions.

Academy Program
2016–2019
Development-first soccer preparing younger players for the transition into competitive Select soccer. Games are intended as a fun learning environment and an opportunity to improve.

Select Program
2015 and older
The competitive program runs annually, with official tryouts held in mid-May to early June. Players are assessed and may be invited to join one of the club's Select teams.

Galaxy Summer Camp
5–17
Summer Soccer Camps provide quality soccer training with a focus on affordability. Training is led by Coach Oumar Djiba and other Galaxy coaches.
