Level 5 to Level 6
Each level below lists the leagues this club plays in. Your kid's level depends on the team they make. The six levels are our own reading of public league play. They are not an official ranking.
Sanctioned by Mississippi Soccer Association (US Youth Soccer). The club’s site also lists US Club Soccer. We have not confirmed that from the body’s own member list, so we do not call the club sanctioned. It also lists Mississippi Rush Soccer Club, N1 National League. We have not placed those leagues on the ladder, so they do not count above.

Micro Soccer
Ages 4–5 · U4–U5 · 3v3 / 4v4
Small-sided games with 8–9 games per season, parent volunteer coaches, and a team jersey provided.

Ages 6–10 · U6–U10
Volunteer coaches lead one game per week, with 8 games per season, three free skills clinics led by JFC staff, and free goalkeeper training.

Ages 11–19 · U11–U19 · 9v9 at U12, 11v11 at U13 and above
Teams use combined two-year age bands, with 1–2 games per week and local games against other Jackson-area clubs.
Mississippi Rush Competitive

JFC's competitive program through its Mississippi Rush affiliation, with professional training, league play, 8–10 tournaments per year, and ECNL / ECNL-RL pathways at U13+.

Ages 15–19
The high-school-age competitive program includes league play, college showcases, and regional and national tournaments for boys and girls.

Rec-Plus Teams
Ages 8–10
A tournament team selected from players who attend Rec-Plus Training; JFC coaches lead training twice per week and teams play 2–3 local tournaments after the rec season.
Tiny Tots Skills
U4–U5
Four skills sessions for the youngest players, focused on ball touches and soccer fundamentals in a fun, low-pressure setting.
Academy Training
U6–U7
Five additional practices led by JFC staff for players who want to keep learning while having fun.
Rec-Plus Training
U8–U10
Six higher-intensity training sessions that also serve as tryouts for Rec-Plus Teams and set players up for levels beyond rec.

Goalkeeper Training
U8–U16 keepers
Free goalkeeper training for JFC Rec and Rec-Plus keepers, led by Coach Cole Turner and divided by age and ability.
Summer Camps
Ages 4–13
Week-long, half-day summer camps for all skill levels, held Monday through Friday at the JFC facility.
Adult League

Low-pressure, casual soccer for adults who love to play.
Private Coaching
A network of coaches welcomes players of all levels for 1:1 and group training.

Craig McCabe
Academy Director
Formerly from Dundee (Scotland) now based in Mississippi; a wealth of experience coaching youth soccer and preparing players before college. Prior to his move stateside Craig played in the academy at Dundee United. He won back to back NJCAA National Championships at Herkimer Community College and earned a scholarship at Belhaven University.

Coaching at JFC since 1993; served as Director of Coaching since 2010. 24 state championships with Jackson Futbol Club and Mississippi Rush. Former head men's soccer coach at Mississippi College (2003–2025), named Conference Coach of the Year four times and finished with 222 career wins.
