Each level below lists the leagues this club plays in. Your kid's level depends on the team they make. The six levels are our own reading of public league play. They are not an official ranking.
Sanctioned by Wyoming Soccer Association (US Youth Soccer). The club’s site also lists US Youth Soccer Association, Snake River League. We have not placed those leagues on the ladder, so they do not count above.

Academy recreational - non travel
players born 2012 -2023 (U3 through U14)
The recreational non-travel programs provide a fun and inclusive environment for players of all skill levels, emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and the fundamentals of the game. Games are non-results oriented and focus on player development and fun.

U3
A five-week program for the youngest players, with two 30-minute practices per week and parent participation required. It builds social, physical, and foundational soccer skills.

A skills-and-games introduction where players practice once a week and play one small-sided 3v3 game on a separate day. Teams are coed and coached by parent volunteers with club guidance.

U6-U7 · 4v4
A developmentally appropriate recreational program with one practice and one game per week. Small-sided games have no goalkeepers and emphasize technical ability, teamwork, and fun.

U8-U9 · 5v5
A seven-week program with one practice and one game each week. Games include a goalie, and the season concludes with a celebratory soccer festival.

A seven-week program with one practice and one game each week that supports player development as players transition to larger-field 7v7 play with goalkeepers. Coaches introduce simple team tactics while keeping sessions fun and game-based.

Colts FC Middle School League
6th, 7th, & 8th grades · 7v7
A competitive 7v7 league, in partnership with TCSD, for middle school players seeking to grow their skills and game confidence. Teams compete in structured league play twice weekly.

U9-U14
Jackson Hole Youth Soccer’s travel soccer program offers fall and spring seasons for players with multiple seasons of experience and a good grasp of soccer fundamentals. Teams train two or three days per week, play in the Snake River League, and compete in regional tournaments.
U9-U10 United
U9-U10 · 7v7
The program introduces younger players to competitive travel soccer outside the in-house recreational academy. Teams train twice per week, play weekend games, and follow a soccer-specific curriculum.
U11-U12 United
U11-U12 · 9v9
United teams for these age groups provide competitive travel soccer with regular training, league play, and tournament opportunities. Rosters and age-group configurations are set by JHYS to support player development.
U13-U14 United
U13-U14 · 11v11
United teams for these age groups provide a higher-commitment travel pathway with regular training, Snake River League play, and regional tournaments. The program emphasizes development, teamwork, and competitive progression.
Impact
U11/U12 and U13/U14
A tryout-based program for motivated players seeking focused, high-level training and stronger competition during winter and summer off-seasons. Training emphasizes tactical awareness and positional play.
Small-Sided House League (Winter)
U6-U14
A coed, game-based indoor house league for players born between 2012 and 2020. Players are placed on balanced teams with small rosters to ensure meaningful playing time.
The Skill Zone (Winter)
ages 5–14
An eight-week technical development program focused on confidence, creativity, and game-smart play. Sessions use foot skills, tight-space play, and futsal-style challenges.
Between the Posts - Goalkeeper Training (Winter)
U9-U14
A one-hour goalkeeper training program focused on positioning, shot-stopping, decision-making, agility, reflexes, and confidence in game situations.
Future Footies (Winter)
U4-U5
A playful four-week introduction to soccer centered on movement, coordination, ball-friendly fun, and age-appropriate activities. Families can enroll in either the January or February session, or both.
Futsal Pickup (Winter)
U9-U14
Weekly coed futsal pickup uses a fast, hard-court surface and small-sided games to build touch, quick decision-making, and creativity in tight spaces.
JHYS TOPSoccer
ages 4 and up
A community-based program for young athletes with physical, developmental, and cognitive disabilities. Players are placed by ability rather than age and participate in adapted activities and small-sided games.
Soccer On! Midsummer Camp
U5-U15
A high-energy week of soccer development for players of all skill levels, combining drills, small-sided games, and competitive play with nationally licensed coaches.
Soccer On! Preseason Camp
U5-U15
A one-week camp preparing players for the fall season through technical development, confidence-building, and game understanding. The camp is led by experienced coaches including Rob Karas.
Soccer On! Elite Player Development Camp
U9-U15
A challenging camp for motivated, high-level players focused on technical ability, tactical understanding, decision-making, spatial awareness, and execution under pressure.
Soccer On! Futeballer "European-style" Camp
U9-U15
A four-day, European-style training experience for motivated players seeking elite coaching and top-tier instruction. The registration fee includes a camp shirt and nine hours of training.
Soccer On! Coed Summer League
Rising 1st–2nd Graders; Rising 3rd–4th Graders; Rising 5th–6th Graders; Rising 7th–8th Graders
A six-game coed summer league inspired by the World Cup, with country-themed teams, weekly games, and a fun competitive environment. All skill levels are welcome.
Soccer On! Goalkeeper Clinic Series
U9-U14
A summer clinic series for competitive and recreational goalkeepers covering distribution, communication, handling, diving, high balls, shot stopping, and 1v1s.
JHYS Recreational Referee
Recreational U9, U10 & U12
A referee pathway within the club where participants can begin as observers, progress to assistant referees, and eventually become center referees while receiving guidance and mentorship.

13 years old and up for recreational applicants; minimum age 14 for USSF certification
A certification pathway for youth and adults interested in becoming USSF referees, with certification and recertification classes available in the Jackson area when enough participants register.

Sam Williams
Director of Coaching
A Vermont native, Sam Williams brings extensive experience in the soccer world to the DOC role. Sam was a four-year starter at center back and helped transform a program that had finished bottom of the conference a year before his arrival into the top team in NCAA Division III. Sam captained the Jumbos his senior season and earned NSCAA All American honors as Tufts won its first NCAA National Championship.
He graduated from Tufts in 2015, with a BA in Political Science and Environmental Studies.
Isabel Cox
Director of Recreational Programming
A standout striker at the University of North Carolina, Isabel made 110 appearances for the storied Tar Heels, helping lead UNC to multiple ACC Championships and two national championship appearances. She later played professionally for Wellington Phoenix FC and Brooklyn FC.
Rob Karas
