North Haven Soccer Club is a volunteer organization and our success is contingent upon how many parents & adults are willing to give a little of their time to make their son or daughter's experience a more positive one.

Each level below lists the leagues this club plays in. Your kid's level depends on the team they make. The six levels are our own reading of public league play. They are not an official ranking.
Sanctioned by Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (US Youth Soccer). The club’s site also lists South Central District of CJSA. We have not placed that league on the ladder, so it does not count above.

Kick-Start
U4
The co-ed Kick-Start program introduces young players to soccer and physical activity through an engaging curriculum, fun activities, and enthusiastic coaches. It is a six-week clinic program.

Clinic
U5-U6
The co-ed clinic program aims to instill a love of soccer while developing players’ understanding of the game. It is a six-week clinic program.
U7-8 Program
U7-8
The U-7/8 Program combines player development and an introduction to soccer through one weekday practice session and weekend games. Players may also attend Skills Night.
U9-10 In-Town
U9-10
The in-town program develops fundamental skills and techniques, with a 75-minute weekday practice and a Saturday game over 10 weeks. The club says the program emphasizes player development rather than winning games.

This program is in addition to the in-town program and includes an additional 90-minute weekly practice and friendly games against comparable teams from other towns.
U-10 Developmental
U9-10
This program is in addition to the in-town program and includes a weekly 90-minute practice, weekend games against other towns’ U-10 developmental teams, and required Skills Night sessions.
Travel Recreation
U11-15
The travel recreation program runs for 10 weeks with one 90-minute weekday practice and one to two weekend games against recreation-level teams from the local area.
CJSA
Travel Competitive
U11-15
The travel competitive program runs for 10 weeks with two 90-minute weekday practices and one to two weekend games. Competitive teams usually enter the CT Cup and are expected to show a greater commitment and higher level of skill.
CJSA
U16 & U19 Teams
U16-19
This is a 10-week spring-only program with a 90-minute weekday practice and an 80- or 90-minute game on a weeknight or weekend. Teams play league and friendly games and usually enter the CT Cup.

Winter Skill Clinics
KickStart to U10
Winter skill clinics are six-week clinics offered from early January to mid-February to improve speed, agility, and foot skills before the spring season. Sessions are held on Friday evenings at the North Haven Recreational Center.
Friday Night Skills at CT Sportsplex
11- to 14-year-old players
This 12-week coed winter training program is designed to help players stay in shape and develop additional skills. Sessions are held at the CT Sportsplex Field House.
Summer Camp
U4 to U19
The club runs a four-day camp in mid-August for players from U4 to U19. The camp focuses on tactical and technical development for goalies, defenders, midfielders, and forwards.
