Level 2
Each level below lists the leagues this club plays in. Your kid's level depends on the team they make. The six levels are our own reading of public league play. They are not an official ranking.
The club’s site also lists Utah Youth Soccer Association. We have not confirmed that from the body’s own member list, so we do not call the club sanctioned. It also lists Northern Utah Development League, Utah Youth Soccer Association Leagues. We have not placed those leagues on the ladder, so they do not count above.

Prep-Academy
Ages 4–7 · 2v2 / 3v3
The Prep-Academy offers four-week sessions with four training days and Friday games in small-sided 2v2 and 3v3 formats.

Development Academy
U8–U9 · 5v5
The Development Academy provides year-round training and competition through fall and spring, with optional tournaments, extra training, and winter league play. Academy players compete in the Northern Utah Development League.
NU-DL feeds into Local competition team or state competition team
Northern Utah Development League
U8-U14 · 5v5 / 7v7
The league provides a structured, development-focused environment prioritizing individual growth, skill development, and game understanding. U8–U9 teams play 5v5, while older teams use 7v7 formats.
NU-DL feeds into Competitive soccer
Local Competitive Teams
U10-U14 · 7v7
Local teams are established competitive teams for players who want to continue playing competitive soccer locally. U10 and older teams keep scores and standings.
NU-DL feeds into State Teams
State Teams
U10 and older
State teams are for ambitious players who want to train and compete with coaches and teammates who share their ambitions and abilities, with multiple levels of state competition.
UYSA feeds into National 1 League or ECNL-RL
X League & IRL
U8-U12
The club lists X League & IRL as its state soccer development league option, with fall and spring play, club training, club standards, and team commitment.
UYSA feeds into State Teams
National 1 League
U13-U19
National 1 provides high-level state competition, regional matches, and a development-focused pathway without travel demands. It replaces the UYSA Premier 1 Division and offers postseason and showcase opportunities for qualifying teams.
N1 feeds into ECNL-RL
Pre-ECNL
U11 & U12
Pre-ECNL teams play a separate full schedule against other ECNL clubs in Utah, with optional invitations to training sessions, camps, and selected games based on readiness and development.
ECNL feeds into ECNL-RL
ECNL Regional League
U13-U19
ECNL-RL provides regional competition, showcase opportunities, a pathway to postseason play, and a player-advancement pathway within the club and its Avalanche partnership.

Goalkeeper Training
6-18 years old
Coach Andy Parker and his staff provide goalkeeper training for beginners, Futures, Royalty, and ECNL-RL goalkeepers in age- and development-based groups.
ECNL-RL
Sports Academy Pure Performance Training Class
10-19 years old
This four-week performance program focuses on speed, power, dynamic movement, whole-body strength, stability, and mobility for soccer players.
Sterling Team Training
8U-19U · 7v7 / 9v9 / 11v11
Sterling sessions provide technical, tactical, game-based training and mentoring from NUU directors, with packages for 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 teams.
Royalty Training
13U-19U · 11v11
Royalty Training offers 11v11 team training packages, including full Royalty training and defending or attacking sessions.
VIVA Personal Training
All ages
Viva Performance Training offers structured, high-level private and small-group sessions covering ball mastery, finishing, speed, movement, position-specific development, confidence, and decision-making.
Rise To Royalty Train At Home
The at-home training program uses six stages and weekly skills training to help players master the ball, build confidence, and progress toward Royalty status.
Summer Camps
4-7 years old
NUU lists Destination Soccer summer camps for children ages 4–7, with summer locations in Nibley, Hyrum, and Logan.

Cache Valley Cup

The Cache Valley Cup is a summer soccer tournament hosted by Northern Utah United for U8–U18 players and teams.
