Each level below lists the leagues this club plays in. Your kid's level depends on the team they make. The six levels are our own reading of public league play. They are not an official ranking.
Sanctioned by Virginia Youth Soccer Association (US Youth Soccer). The club’s site also lists US Club Soccer. We have not confirmed that from the body’s own member list, so we do not call the club sanctioned. It also lists Virginia Premier Soccer League (VPSL), National Capital Soccer League (NCSL). We have not placed those leagues on the ladder, so they do not count above.

The counts come from public commitment trackers, club lists, league records, player pages, and the rosters of 2,244 NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA programs. One player counts once per school. “Division unverified” means we matched the school but could not confirm the program level. We never print a current youth player’s name.

Courage Select Program
U7 to U19
The Courage select programs are comprehensive programs designed to develop players from U7 to U19. Select teams compete in the ECNL Regional League through VPSL and in NCSL.

Courage Classic Program
9U to 19U
The Classic Program is offered for boys and girls from 9U to 19U and provides higher levels of soccer at a lower cost. It helps bridge the gap from the Courage Recreational Program to the Courage Select Program, with teams competing in NCSL.

Courage Development Program (CDP) / Courage U7/U8 Academy
U7-U8
This is a 9 month training program for boys and girls that provides a developmentally appropriate environment for problem solving, authentic learning, and skill development. The program is a transition between the Recreational Program and the Select Program.

U4-U19
Recreational soccer is one of the foundations of PWSI and offers children from 3 years old up to 19 years old the opportunity to play soccer in a safe and healthy environment.
Courage Cubs
U4-U6
The Courage Cubs Program is an age-appropriate league focused on individual development for the youngest players. U5/U6 includes small-sided games and one practice day a week, while U4 uses a practice-and-play model on Saturday mornings.
Courage House League
U7-U8; U9-U12
The Courage House League gives players the opportunity to develop life skills, make new friends, and improve technical skills and tactical knowledge. The league is 8 weeks long, with a weekly practice and a Friday-night or Saturday game.
Suburban Friendship League (SFL)
U13-U19 · 11v11
The SFL is a recreational league for boys and girls of all levels and abilities. Divisions play 11v11 and the season concludes with a tournament.
SFL
TOPSoccer
TOPSoccer gives children with mental and physical disabilities a chance to enjoy the game of soccer. The club describes it as a free program staffed by a volunteer coordinator and buddies from local high schools.
Courage 7s

Courage 7s is the club's adult league program.
Courage Camp Series
The club lists the 2026 Courage Camp Series among its programs and provides registration through the site.
