Each level below lists the leagues this club plays in. Your kid's level depends on the team they make. The six levels are our own reading of public league play. They are not an official ranking.
Sanctioned by Michigan State Youth Soccer Association (US Youth Soccer). The club’s site also lists Michigan State Premier Soccer Program (MSPSP), Great Lakes Premier League, Grand Valley Soccer Association. We have not placed those leagues on the ladder, so they do not count above.

Rapids Juniors Development Program
3-7
The Rapids Juniors Development Program is designed to introduce young players to soccer while teaching fundamental skills in a fun and supportive environment. The program consists of five sessions led by experienced Rapids FC coaches.

TOPSoccer
ALL AGES
US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer is a recreational sports program for children and adults with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities. TOPSoccer provides people with diverse abilities an opportunity to play soccer in a structured environment that is safe, fun, supportive, and inclusive.
4v4 Select
U7-U8 · 4v4
The 4v4 Soccer Program is designed for young, developmental players to build foundational skills in a fun and supportive environment. The format encourages active participation, quick decision-making, and basic tactical understanding.
7v7
U9-U10 · 7v7
The 7v7 Program focuses on continued player development in a fun, structured, and age-appropriate environment. This stage bridges the gap between small-sided games and full-sided play, supporting growth in decision-making, teamwork, and game intelligence.
9v9 Soccer Program
U11-U12 · 9v9
The 9v9 Soccer Program is designed to further develop players’ technical skills and tactical understanding in a more structured team environment. The program focuses on preparing players for 11v11 play while maintaining a strong emphasis on individual development and enjoyment of the game.
Elite Development Program
U11-U12 · 9v9
The Rapids FC Elite Development Program is designed for U11–U12 players who demonstrate the commitment and potential to follow an Elite soccer pathway. This ten-month training environment focuses on technical skills, tactical understanding, physical development, and mental toughness.

U13-U19 · 11v11
The Rapids FC MSPSP Premier & Great Lakes Premier program is designed for U13–U19 players committed to competing and developing at an Elite level. This comprehensive, ten-month training environment (U15+ 5-month) emphasizes high-performance development across all areas of the game.

Goalkeeper training is with Tiger Goalkeeping Institute. Sessions will be led by the Tiger Goalkeeping Institute.
