Each level below lists the leagues this club plays in. Your kid's level depends on the team they make. The six levels are our own reading of public league play. They are not an official ranking.
Sanctioned by Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (US Youth Soccer). The club’s site also lists Farmington Valley League. We have not placed that league on the ladder, so it does not count above.

U5 Soccer Heroes
U5 Boys & Girls (For Players Born 8/1/2021 - 7/31/2022)
An engaging introduction to soccer using a fun, story-based curriculum focused on storytelling, imagination and play, and motor skills development. The program includes weekly professional training support and an end-of-season Super Heroes themed event.

U6 Boys & Girls (For Players Born 8/1/2020 - 7/31/2021)
An eight-week, one-hour clinic facilitated by professional trainers, focused on individual skills and developing comfort with the ball and the game. Players are divided into teams of 6-8 with volunteer parent coaches and assistants.

U7 Girls (For Players Born 8/1/2019 - 7/31/2020); U7 Boys (For Players Born 8/1/2019 - 7/31/2020) · 4v4
The U7 program provides a structured, developmentally appropriate environment with individual skills, field spacing and team passing. It uses a USSF Grassroots, age-specific Play-Practice-Play curriculum with one practice and one game per week.

The U8 World Cup program provides a structured, developmentally appropriate environment using age-specific USSF Grassroots curricula. Players have one practice and one game per week, with the season built around a World Cup experience.

The FVL fills the space between playing and not playing as children move out of younger recreational programs. Its lower time commitment than travel allows dual-sport participation and other activities while providing an opportunity to play soccer.

The U12 Farmington Valley League program provides an age-level-appropriate combination of weekly training and games against neighboring Farmington Valley League towns. The two-year grouping allows children time to develop their game onto larger field dimensions.

The U15 Farmington Valley League program provides an age-level-appropriate combination of weekly training and games against neighboring Farmington Valley League towns. Its lower time commitment compared to travel allows for dual-sport participation and other activities.

Youth Travel

The Youth Travel program is for children who enjoy competitive soccer and emphasizes teamwork, effort, commitment and respect. Selection is based on spring tryouts with independent evaluators, and the program usually includes two practices a week and two weekend games.

Senior Travel is listed by the club among its spring programs. The club's cancellation policy identifies Senior Travel as a program for grades 9-12.

TOPSoccer
any girl or boy, ages 4 and up, no age limit
TOPSoccer is a community-based program for young athletes with physical/intellectual challenges, organized by Simsbury Soccer Club volunteers. It provides learning, playing, fellowship, exercise and fun with peers and mentors, and is free for all TOPSoccer players.
