Equivalency Sport
A sport whose scholarship money is split into fractions across the squad.
In an equivalency sport the coach receives a pool of scholarship money and divides it however they like, so most players hold a fraction rather than a full award. Soccer is an equivalency sport for men and women at every level that funds it.
