Heading Rule
The age limits on heading the ball, in games and in training.
Two separate things. In games, deliberate heading is an offense in 4v4, 7v7 and U11, restarted with an indirect free kick to the other team. In training, US Soccer’s concussion guidance bars heading at U11 and below and caps U12 and U13 at 30 minutes and 15 to 20 headers a week. Leagues may restrict it further.
