Coach Braswell played soccer as a youth but switched to the sport’s cousin prior to attending North Carolina State University where he was the starting tight head prop and flanker for NC State Men’s Rugby. During his time at NC State, Braswell helped propel the team to two ACC championships and various tournament trophies. Braswell started coaching youth soccer in 2017.

I am a 2025 graduate of Northeast High School, where I played Varsity Soccer for the Eagles. During my senior year, I suffered a knee injury that required surgery, which changed the direction of my soccer journey. While recovering, I began assisting with the Highlanders team, and what started as a way to stay involved with the sport quickly turned into a full-time coaching role. I bring hands-on experience from playing on EDP travel teams since third grade and competing year-round throughout high school.

I have been coaching girls’ soccer for 7 years, starting in 2018 with the Pasadena Soccer Club. I have worked with girls and boys from ages U6-U19. While coaching for PSC, I coached county and travel level teams. In 2023, I began coaching for Two Rivers and took a role coaching girls’ soccer for Northeast high school.

Coach Kay brings over 15 years of dedicated experience to the soccer community, beginning her coaching career in 2011 with St. Jane’s Soccer. She continued her development with St. Jane’s Soccer as the organization transitioned into PSC, where she served as both a head coach and assistant coach from 2014 to 2018. Currently, Coach Kay is entering her fifth year as the Head JV Coach at Northeast Senior High School. She also contributes to player development at the middle school level as an Assistant Coach for Northeast Middle School.
