Each level below lists the leagues this club plays in. Your kid's level depends on the team they make. The six levels are our own reading of public league play. They are not an official ranking.
Sanctioned by Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (US Youth Soccer). The club’s site also lists Boston Area Youth Soccer (BAYS), New England Club Soccer League (NECSL), Massachusetts Futsal League. We have not placed those leagues on the ladder, so they do not count above.

K-2 Soccer Saturdays
Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd graders
A spring and fall program at Diamond Middle School with 45 minutes of activities and 30 minutes of games each week. It focuses on an enjoyable experience while learning the game of soccer.
3rd & 4th Grade In-Town League
3rd & 4th graders · 7v7
A fall and spring program in which mixed teams of 3rd and 4th graders play 7v7. The program emphasizes fair competition, teamwork, and improving soccer skills.
feeds into 3rd/4th-8th Grade Travel
3rd/4th-8th Grade Travel Soccer
3rd-8th graders
A spring and fall program with two weekday practices and a Saturday game each week. Teams play other clubs in Boston Area Youth Soccer and are placed according to ability.
BAYS feeds into High School Travel
High School Travel
9th-12th graders · 7v7
A spring and fall program with one weekday practice and a Sunday game each week. Teams play in BAYS Division 3, using the 7v7 format on 9v9-sized fields.

Lexington Player Development Academy (LPDA)
3rd to roughly 10th grade
A professionally coached program for skilled players seeking additional competitive play beyond Travel. Teams play in the fall and spring against private club teams and train indoors in winter, with optional futsal.
NECSL · Massachusetts Futsal League
LPDA Juniors
Born after Aug 1, 2016 · 7v7
The youngest LPDA offering competes in the NECSL 7v7 Jamboree league, trains once a week, and runs as a full-year Fall/Winter/Spring program. Players are required to also play with their LUSC in-town or travel team.

K-5th Grade Friday Clinics
K – 5th
Professionally staffed, age-appropriate clinics open to players of all abilities. The clinic focuses on player development, ball mastery, individual footwork, first-touch training, and decision making.
Winter Skills Clinics
K – 8th
Off-season programs that are professionally staffed, age-appropriate, fun, and open to players of all abilities. Offerings include Afternoon Skills, Advanced Skills, and Coed Saturday Street Soccer.
Vacation Clinics
K – 8th
Spring and summer clinics teaching age-appropriate technical soccer skills through fun, small-sided games. LUSC offers April Vacation, June Kick Off the Summer, July Coed Mid-Summer, and August Preseason clinics.
TOPS (The Outreach Program for Soccer)
children and young adults that have physical and/or intellectual challenges
A community-based program geared toward player development rather than competition, with games and activities adapted so players can learn at their own pace.
LPDA winter futsal
3rd to roughly 10th grade
LPDA teams play indoor futsal in the winter, including an optional season of futsal and approximately seven games for the full-roster U14-and-below program.
Massachusetts Futsal League
High School Mentor Program

A program in which a high-school-aged LUSC player assists the coaching staff of a LUSC team. Mentors serve teams from U9 to U14 and formally participate in spring seasons.
Youth Referee Program
13 years and older
LUSC offers opportunities for paid referees aged 13 and older.
Tryouts
2026/27 season
Tryouts decide which travel team a kid plays on. Confirm the details on the club’s page before you go.
