Each level below lists the leagues this club plays in. Your kid's level depends on the team they make. The six levels are our own reading of public league play. They are not an official ranking.
Sanctioned by New Jersey Youth Soccer (US Youth Soccer). The club’s site also lists US Soccer. We have not confirmed that from the body’s own member list, so we do not call the club sanctioned. It also lists New Jersey Youth Soccer Association, US Soccer Federation, Northern Counties Soccer Association of NJ, Northern Counties league, EDP League. We have not placed those leagues on the ladder, so they do not count above.

Programs
The programs, age by age
These come from the club's site, grouped the way the club groups them. Your kid starts in the one that fits their age.
Kinder Kickers and Little Strikers
ages 4-6
A co-education program for children ages 4-6 held on Saturday mornings only, in 55 minute sessions. There are no practices during the week.
Recreation League
grades 1 to 9
The recreational program provides a forum for learning a fun game, meeting and playing with children from around the area, and developing soccer skills. Teams usually practice once during the week and play games on Saturdays.
Recreational Referee Program
The program trains and schedules referees for MUSC recreation games, including orientation, customized rules of play, and paid game assignments.
Travel Program
U-9 to U-19
The travel program aims to provide an appropriate soccer experience to as many children as possible. Travel teams receive professional training and usually play on Saturdays or Sundays in the fall and spring, as well as in selected tournaments.
Academy Model
U8 through U12
The Academy program provides high-level, structured training for children who demonstrate a passion for the game and a commitment to further developing skills. It emphasizes individual, skills-based training and small-sided games.
Boys High School Spring Only Travel Team Program
This team plays in the EDP League, with indoor practice one day a week from January through March and two days of outdoor training from March through June. There is usually one game each weekend.

Summer Soccer Sessions

A four-week, half-day summer soccer program run by members of the MUSC professional coaching staff. Sessions run from 9 AM to noon at Nishuane Park.
TOPSoccer
Grades Pre-K through 12 (Ages 4 - 19)
An outreach program for soccer that brings high-school-aged students together with children with a broad spectrum of disabilities for soccer-based activities. No soccer experience is necessary.

Tryouts decide which travel team a kid plays on. Confirm the details on the club’s page before you go.
