Each level below lists the leagues this club plays in. Your kid's level depends on the team they make. The six levels are our own reading of public league play. They are not an official ranking.
Sanctioned by New Jersey Youth Soccer (US Youth Soccer). The club also played in NPL and USYS NL. Those leagues ended in July 2026 and merged into National 1, so they do not count above. The club’s site also lists US Club Soccer. We have not confirmed that from the body’s own member list, so we do not call the club sanctioned.

Last season Maroons Soccer Club fielded 48 teams in the leagues we track: 24 boys and 24 girls, from state & premier down to travel / select. The ladder tops out in EDP Futures from U9 up. After U14 the travel teams stop: U15 and up plays county-level only.

Mini Maroons Fall Program
2021-23 or in Pre K/K
The Mini Maroons Fall Program is for boys and girls born in 2021–23 or in Pre K/K. It runs for 8 weeks beginning September 12th.
Mini Maroons U7
U7 (Under 7) · 4v4
Mini Maroons Spring 2026 is designed for U7 players ready for more structure, more touches, and small-sided games in a fun, competitive environment.
u8 Pre-Academy
7 year-old boys/girls · 4v4
The u8 travel academy is the next phase of development toward the competitive travel academy. It is a fall and spring commitment with optional winter training and tournaments.

These travel academy teams are open to players inside and outside of Ridgewood, NJ, with limited availability for the spring and fall. Teams compete in Northern Counties, EDP and NPL Leagues, as well as the NCSA and NJYS State Cups.
