Best friends Mahmoud and Fawzi are stuck in Jordan's Za'atari camp for Syrian refugees, where they play soccer and dream of turning pro. Their chance arrives when scouts from a Qatari sports academy visit the camp. The film follows them over several years as they chase a way out.

Why we picked it

A grounded look at how much the game can mean to kids who have almost nothing else, and a reminder that talent shows up in places most scouts never look. It builds empathy without preaching.
