This documentary traces Pelé's path from a teenager who won the 1958 World Cup to a three-time champion and national symbol in Brazil. It sets his career against the backdrop of the country's military dictatorship and asks how much a sports hero owed his nation during that period. Pelé sits for a present-day interview alongside former teammates and journalists.
