The Big Green
All agesBest for whole familyIMDb 5.6
A group of bored, struggling small-town Texas kids gets an unlikely soccer team when a visiting substitute teacher from England signs them up for a league. With help from a local deputy, the ragtag squad slowly learns the game and starts to believe in itself.
Why we picked it
It is a gentle, kid-friendly underdog story built entirely around a first youth team finding its feet, which lands well with younger players who are just starting out.
