Shaolin Soccer
8–12Best for kidsIMDb 7.3Free
A washed-up former player spots a Shaolin dropout whose kung fu "leg of steel" could win a big-money tournament, so he rounds up the man's estranged kung fu brothers and turns their martial arts into an unlikely soccer team. Cartoonish special effects and broad slapstick carry the whole thing. It treats the sport as superhero spectacle.
Why we picked it
It is the gateway soccer comedy for younger kids, pure over-the-top fun, and it opens an easy chat about teamwork and second chances.
